Casa de Bear

From November 1997 through April 1998, I lived in a solar house. It was exciting and inspiring to get power from the sun, and also from our waterwheel down the creek.

After battling the batteries and living with a dirty power inverter during the hardest months of El Nino, I decided that it would be time to go on a new adventure. I moved out of the Casa and into my car (and storage) for three months.

Below are some memories. I also lived in a bungalow down the street nearby, with power and light from The Grid. I still use green power (costs less).
